Este 8 de febrero se dieron a conocer las nominaciones a la edición número 94 de los Premios Oscar en las cuales El poder del perro de Jane Campion se convierte en la favorita al estar nominada en 12 categorías, seguida de Dune con 10 nominaciones.
Los mexicanos no se quedaron atrás y Carlos López Estrada director de cine fue nominado en la categoría a Mejor Película Animada por su trabajo en Raya y el Último Dragón. Guillermo del Toro también fue nominado en cuatro categorías por su trabajo en “Nightmare Alley”, entre las que destacan Mejor Película.
El cineasta mexicano y quien ya ha sido reconocido en el pasado por La Academia junto a la producción de El callejón de las almas perdidas también obtuvo la nominación a Mejor Fotografía gracias al trabajo del fotógrafo Dan Laustsen, Mejor diseño de vestuario y Mejor diseño de producción.
Autoridades e internautas mexicanos han celebrado este martes las cuatro nominaciones para los próximos Óscar del filme “El callejón de las almas perdidas”, del director mexicano Guillermo del Toro, así como la nominación del director Carlos López por su filme animado “Raya y el último dragón”.
“El talento mexicano estará presente en los premios Óscar 2022. Muchas felicidades a Guillermo del Toro por su nominación a la extraordinaria película ‘El callejón de las almas perdidas’ y a Carlos López Estrada por ‘Raya y el último dragón’”, ha escrito la secretaria de Cultura Alejandra Frausto en su Twitter.
